Inbox
The Inbox has four tabs with counts: Updates, Later, Handled and Put away.
Updates holds the emails sorted as updates, Later the digest and Handled the emails switched off; emails that need you stay on Today.
Filter by role limits the rows and the counts to one role.
Each page shows 50 emails, with Previous and Next.
Each row shows the role, sender, subject, summary and time, with Done, Not for me, Snooze and Open in Gmail.
Done, Not for me or a Snooze that is still ahead moves the email to Put away; Undo on the toast reverses it until you navigate away.
The subject opens the email's own page, with everything zonask knows about it: why it was sorted, its summary, its current label, the same three actions, a Productive task when your role has one mapped, and the open commitments of its conversation.
Calendar
The Calendar shows seven days around the chosen date, with today marked.
Events carry the colour of their role, all-day events first, each with Open in Calendar.
Move with Previous week, Next week and Today.
To block time in your calendar, use the assistant.
Calendar use
Each connected account has a calendar use, chosen under Settings → Accounts next to its role: My calendar, Show only or Not used.
My calendar is yours: its events show on Today and in the Calendar, count as busy, can take the blocks you confirm and can join calendar mirroring.
Show only is a calendar you can see but are not in charge of: its events show, but zonask never adds a block or a Busy copy to it and it never mirrors.
For example, if you look after the technical side of a shop's mailbox but not its appointments, set that account to Show only: you still see its events, and nothing of yours lands in the shop's calendar.
Not used means zonask does not read or show that calendar at all.
Accounts you had before keep My calendar; a newly connected account asks right after you choose its role, with Show only already chosen when that role is not your first role.
Which calendar a block goes into
Before a block is written, the plan card names its calendar, Into: … calendar, and Busy copy to: …, the calendars where mirroring adds a private Busy copy at the same time.
The block starts in the role's own calendar, else the calendar you chose last for that role; you can choose any calendar set to My calendar instead.
A block is never written into a calendar set to Show only or Not used; such a request is refused and nothing is written.
In Claude or ChatGPT
list_inbox returns the same four tabs, 50 emails per page, optionally for one role; label_email moves one into Put away.
list_calendar returns the events of one to seven days from a date, optionally for one role.
search_mail finds your emails of the last 30 days by subject or sender, and reads one thread live without storing it.
Both lists show as a list card where the host supports it.
list_accounts shows how each calendar is used, and set_calendar_use changes it after your yes.
When a block could go into more than one of your calendars set to My calendar, Claude or ChatGPT asks you which one before anything is written.
