Daily summary and notices
The summary email in your office hours, urgent items at once, and what zonask tells you once.

In the web app
Set up the summary in Settings under Daily summary.
zonask sends it from your own Google account to that same account.
By default it covers office hours from 09:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday, with updates at 09:00, 13:30 and 18:00 in your time zone.
You can set one to six updates inside your office hours, at least 15 minutes apart.
The first update is the morning plan and the last the end of day; the ones between list only what changed, and nothing is sent when nothing changed.
The morning plan also lists Coming up: your birthdays and important dates of that day and the next six days, each linked to Google Calendar when Google gave a link.
When today's daily brief is ready, the morning email includes its focus and each move with the goal it serves. If there is no ready brief, the email follows its usual format.
In the morning plan, an event with attendees zonask knows as people carries the same line as on Today, for example "With Anna Muster (acme.ch)" followed by last contact and 1 open promise when available.
With time tracking on, the morning plan has a section Time that links the previous workday's review with its hours and names a calendar or mailbox that could not be read.
On Monday it adds Last week's value: per role the hours, the value score and the overhead share, with a link to the value report; only you see it.
On Monday, after the tasks, the morning plan lists Expenses to confirm when receipts are still new on Expenses: how many and their total so far, the five oldest, and Confirm on zonask. When they cannot be read in time the plan goes out without the section.
Sending needs Google's send permission; without it the page offers Allow sending: reconnect.
Urgent channel
The Urgent channel on the same page is off until you turn it on, and it needs a saved daily summary, whose office hours and working days it uses.
Tick the roles that may send urgent items; an item is urgent only when it needs you and is due today.
It sends at most 3 urgent items a day, each once, and only inside office hours unless you tick Also outside office hours.
Turn on push in this browser lets this browser show them; Turn off push in this browser stops it again.
A push shows only "zonask: 1 urgent item" and opens the item, never its subject or sender.
Without push in any browser, the urgent item comes as an email "zonask: 1 urgent item" from your summary account to itself, with a link to the item.
Push new approvals, in the same form, pushes each new proposal on your approvals desk with Yes and No on the notification; see Yes everywhere.
Needs your attention
Some things zonask tells you once: an account to reconnect, a missing permission, or emails it could not sort.
The next summary starts with Needs your attention and lists each new notice once; later summaries do not repeat it.
In Settings, Needs your attention lists the notices that are still open, and a notice goes away once it is fixed.
Losing a Google account (for example after a password change) also shows on Headquarters at once and sends one push to this browser, with its own fixed title; you do not have to wait for the next summary.
In Claude or ChatGPT
summary_settings shows the schedule and how the last summary went, and set_summary_schedule changes it after your confirm.
set_urgent_channel turns the urgent channel on or off and chooses its roles after your confirm; push itself is turned on only in a browser.
list_notices lists the open notices, newest first.
