In the web app
When zonask sorts the new mail of a Gmail account that has a role, it also looks for receipts in it.
It looks at email sorted as finance or admin, and at every email from a known shop, airline or travel service, however that email was sorted.
The known senders are digitec.ch, galaxus.ch, brack.ch, interdiscount.ch, microspot.ch, swiss.com, sbb.ch, booking.com, airbnb.com, uber.com, apple.com, amazon.de and amazon.com, with their subdomains such as mail.swiss.com.
Only email of the last 14 days counts, and at most 5 emails per account each time, the newest first.
Email set to off or to the digest, and email zonask asks you to sort, is never read for receipts, from a known sender or not.
zonask first reads only the headers and the names of the attachments, and opens the email only when it is sure enough that it is a receipt; a newsletter from a known shop becomes no expense.
A receipt it finds appears on Expenses as new, and its file is saved in your Google Drive in the folder zonask/Receipts.
On Expenses you can also upload a photo or a PDF of a receipt yourself.
On Monday the morning plan email has a section Expenses to confirm with the receipts still new: how many there are and their total so far, the five oldest with date, vendor and amount, and Confirm on zonask, which opens Expenses; a probable duplicate is not counted.
In Claude or ChatGPT
list_expenses shows your expenses of one month, and add_expense, confirm_expense and change_expense change them after your yes.
